Rich Carnahan

Born in Steubenville, Ohio, Rich attended Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Advertising with a concentration in Marketing.

After graduation, Rich went to work briefly for Ketchum Communications and MARC Advertising in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where he produced national and regional advertising campaigns for television, print, and radio.

In 1995, he joined WTOV-9, the NBC affiliate in Steubenville, Ohio, as Creative Services Producer, where he directed, wrote and edited commercials, station promotions, and short-form content, including programming under the NBC “The More You Know” campaign umbrella.

Rich’s fascination with interactive design began in 2000 when he left his position in television to open Quintel Interactive and specialize in Web development and CD-based multimedia applications.
